Turn what makes your business matter into a brand people can see.
A great brand doesn’t start with a logo. It starts with understanding what needs to be communicated, then making every creative decision from there.
Create turns the thinking behind your business into a distinctive visual identity. From your logo and typography to colour, imagery and graphic language, everything works together to show people who you are, what you stand for and why you’re worth choosing.
So your brand doesn’t just look good. It means something.
You might have a logo. But do you have a brand?
A logo can identify your business. But on its own, it can’t communicate everything that makes your business worth choosing.
That takes a visual language.
The colours. The typography. The imagery. The graphic elements. The way everything comes together across your website, socials, signage, packaging and every other place your customers experience you.
Without that system, every new piece of communication becomes another design decision.
What colour should we use? What font? What kind of image? What should this look like?
And little by little, things stop feeling connected.
Beautiful has a job to do.
A beautifully designed brand can still say nothing meaningful.
Your logo doesn’t need to win awards.
It needs to help people recognise you.
Your colours need to become associated with you. Your typography needs to feel like you. Your imagery needs to tell the right story. And everything needs to work together often enough that people start to remember you.
Not decoration.
Recognition.
Personality.
Meaning.
This is what we mean by a visual language. A logo is one part of a brand. This is what happens when everything starts speaking the same language.

Create Essentials gives you what you need now.
Create Your Brand gives you a visual system designed to do more.
The difference isn't the quality of the design. It's the depth of exploration, development and flexibility we build into your brand.
Is Create right for you?
You've built a business you care about. You want a brand that reflects the quality of what you do, feels like you and helps people understand why you're worth choosing.
You don't need to know what it should look like.
You do need to be open to where the creative process takes us.
Because this is collaborative.
You bring everything you know about your business and your customers. We bring the creative thinking, design expertise and an outside perspective.
Together, we make decisions based on what your brand needs to communicate, not simply what any of us happens to like.
The best work happens somewhere in the middle.
CREATE ESSENTIALS is for you if…
You know who you are. Now you need a brand to show it.
You've got a clear idea of your business, who it's for and what makes it worth choosing. You're ready to get going and need a considered visual identity without a lengthy creative process.
You're happy to focus on one creative direction, make decisions quickly and be available to collaborate during our dedicated week.
You don't need an extensive visual system just yet. You need the right essentials to start showing up confidently and consistently.
Probably not for you if...
You're still figuring out your positioning, audience or what makes your business different.
You want to explore multiple creative directions before making a decision.
You need a complex visual system across multiple products, audiences or touchpoints.
You won't be available to review work and make decisions during the week.
CREATE YOUR BRAND is for you if…
Your business has grown. Your brand needs to do more.
You've built something worth choosing, but your visual identity isn't communicating the quality, personality or value behind it.
You might have an outdated logo. You might have a perfectly good one, but nothing connecting the rest of your brand.
You need more than the essentials. You want a distinctive visual language that works across the different places people experience your business, with the depth and flexibility to grow with you.
You're ready to explore possibilities, question assumptions and be part of a collaborative creative process.
Probably not for you if...
You only need a straightforward identity to get started.
You've already decided exactly what your brand should look like and just want someone to execute it.
You'd rather make decisions based on personal preference than what your brand needs to communicate.
You're not ready to invest the time in developing a more comprehensive brand system.
Not sure which Create option is right for you?
You don't need to work that out on your own.
Tell us a little about your business, where you're heading and what you're hoping to achieve. We'll help you work out whether Create Essentials, Create Your Brand or even Discover Your Brand is the right place to start.
I want your brand to do its job.
I’m Alison. I’m a designer and creative, and I care a lot about making things look good.
But looking good isn’t enough.
I want to know why we’re making something look the way it does.
Why this colour? Why this typeface? Why this image? What does it say about the business? How does it make someone feel? Will they recognise it next time they see it?
Because a brand has a job to do.
It needs to help people recognise you. Understand you. Remember you. And get a sense of who you are before they’ve ever spoken to you.
That’s why I don’t start with a blank page and ask, “What could look cool?”
I start with what we know about the business.
Then I look for the creative idea that can make that thinking visible.
And once we find it, I build a visual language around it, something distinctive enough to be yours, but flexible enough to work wherever your business needs to show up.
I don’t want to create a brand that looks great in my portfolio.
I want to create one that works for your business.
They had an outdated logo. We built them a brand.
The Nowra Chiropractic Centre was already a successful clinic with loyal patients and a strong reputation.
But their visual identity hadn’t kept up.
They had an outdated logo, but no real visual language around it. Nothing that reflected the knowledge, precision, trust and care their patients valued about them.
Through Discover Your Brand, we uncovered what the brand needed to communicate.
Then, through Create Your Brand, we made it visible.
We built a complete visual identity around one clear idea:
Precise adjustments. Big impact.
A new logo system. A distinctive colour palette. Typography. Imagery. Graphic elements. And a visual language designed to work consistently everywhere the business showed up.
The result was a brand that felt knowledgeable and precise, but also warm, optimistic and human - just like the experience their patients already knew.
The business didn’t need to become better.
The brand needed to catch up.
Got questions? We have answers.
-
Both give you a thoughtfully designed brand. The difference is how much your brand needs to do.
Create Essentials is a focused visual identity for businesses with straightforward needs. We concentrate on the essential elements you need to start showing up confidently and consistently.
Create Your Brand is a more comprehensive creative process. We explore three creative territories, then develop a complete visual language with greater depth and flexibility across different applications.
It's not about getting a good brand or a better brand. It's about building the right brand for where your business is now and where it's heading.
-
If you're starting out, have clear positioning and need a focused identity to get going, Create Essentials could be a good fit.
If your business has grown, you're working across multiple audiences or touchpoints, or you need a more developed visual system, Create Your Brand is likely the better option.
You don't need to make that decision on your own. Tell us about your business and we'll recommend the approach that makes sense.
-
Not always.
If you're already clear on who your customers are, what makes your business different and what your brand needs to communicate, we may be able to move straight into Create.
But if those things haven't been worked through, we'd recommend starting with Discover Your Brand.
We want to make creative decisions for a reason, not just because something looks good.
-
Possibly. A logo is only one part of a brand.
You might have a perfectly good logo but no visual language around it. Or your existing identity might no longer reflect the business you've become.
We'll look at what's working, what's missing and what actually needs to change.
You don't necessarily need to start again.
You know your business. We know brands. The best work happens when we bring those two things together.
-
That's absolutely fine. You don't need to arrive with colours, fonts, moodboards or a logo idea.
That's our job.
We'll take what we know about your business and develop a creative direction that communicates the right things to the right people.
And we'll explain the thinking behind our recommendations, so you're not left making decisions based purely on what you like.
-
This is a collaborative process.
You know your business. We know brands. The best work happens when we bring those two things together.
With Create Essentials, you'll need to be available to review the direction and provide consolidated feedback quickly during our focused week.
With Create Your Brand, there's more time for creative exploration, discussion, development and refinement.
Either way, we won't disappear and come back with all the answers.
-
That depends on which Create option you choose.
Create Essentials includes your primary logo and essential variations, core colours and typography, simple supporting graphic elements, imagery direction, a concise Brand Guide and final essential brand assets.
Create Your Brand includes a more comprehensive logo system, developed colour and typography systems, art direction, graphic language, real-world testing, comprehensive Brand Guidelines and final brand assets.
We'll agree on the exact scope before we begin, so you know what's included.
-
No. Create is about designing the visual identity that those things will be built from.
We may show your brand applied to relevant examples during the creative process, but those are there to demonstrate and test the identity. They're not necessarily finished, production-ready designs.
Websites, packaging, social media templates, signage, campaigns and other collateral can be scoped separately through Grow Your Brand.
Create builds the brand. Grow puts it to work.
-
Because they're designed to solve different levels of need.
Create Essentials is intentionally focused. We work with one creative direction, a streamlined identity system and one consolidated round of refinements.
Create Your Brand gives us more room to explore, develop and test. We begin with three creative territories and build a more comprehensive visual language designed to work across a wider range of applications.
The difference is the depth of the process and the scope of the system we create, not how much care we put into the work.
-
Create Essentials takes one focused week. You'll need to have your brand direction clear and be available to make decisions during that time.
Create Your Brand typically takes 4–6 weeks, depending on the scope of the project and how quickly feedback and approvals come together.
We'll agree on the timeline before we start.
-
Once your visual identity is complete, you can start putting it to work.
That might mean updating your website, creating social media templates, developing packaging, designing signage or bringing your brand into other parts of your business.
Through Grow Your Brand, we can help you apply your new identity consistently wherever your customers see and experience it.
Ready to show people why you matter?
You don't need to know which Create option you need.
Tell us what's happening in your business, where you're heading and what isn't working.
We'll help you work out the right place to start.
